Accommodation at Mburo Eagles Nest
Mburo Eagle’s Nest consists of 10 African safari tents with verandas overlooking the park. Each room is furnished with twin beds. So while sitting on your own veranda, you will enjoy an amazing view of the wilderness of Lake Mburo National Park. If you are lucky, you can also spot some zebras grazing in the park.
Aside from the main accommodation, Mburo Eagle’s Nest offers non-self-contained tents. These are comfortably furnished with two single beds, a bedside table, and a power outlet for charging your electrical equipment.
All tents are placed under a grass thatched roof which creates your private terrace and provides some welcome shade. The tents share a communal ablution block with showers and flushing toilets, so there is no need to worry about linen since all bedding and towels are provided.
Restaurant & Bar
Located in the middle of the camp is the reception/restaurant/bar building. During your dinner, you will hear the sounds of whispering birds, chirping crickets, and grunting bush pigs, from the surrounding bush. The camp prepares dinner in the wilderness in a similar way as it is done with Southern Africa’s potjiekos.

Activities Around the Camp
Explore the land by getting on either a day or night game drive to sight a variety of wildlife. You may also opt for a boat trip on Lake Mburo for aquatic life and spectacular bird species.
Horseback riding experience can be arranged on request, which brings you closer to more wildlife. A bush nature walk, which gives you a fresh feel of the wilderness, is also appropriate.
Visitors to Lake Mburo National complement their stay with either a gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. They also opt for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
