Set along the pristine shores of Lake Mburo, Mazinga Swamp is one of the most remarkable hot spots in this savannah-dominated national park. The swamp is part of the 50-kilometer-long Lake Mburo wetland system in the protected area.
There are two things that will make you fall in love with this verdant swamp; its rich diversity of birds and the fact that it is the only place where sport fishing is done. The swamp is marked by papyrus reed.
