How to get to Hyena Hill Lodge
Lake Mburo National Park is considered the easiest to access, of all the ten national parks in Uganda, at approximately 270 kilometers from Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
It is mainly accessed through road transport through Kampala – Masaka – Lake Mburo National Park, through Nshara or Sanga Gates, taking about 3 hours. Visitors hoping to arrive earlier can opt for air travel by chartering a flight from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip to Mbarara town and then to the park by road.
Most guests visiting Lake Mburo National Park have made an extension further southwest of Uganda into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an amazing gorilla trekking safari in Uganda.
You can make an extension to visit Bwindi Forest on a budget gorilla safari to encounter the mountain gorillas. For those that wish to see mountain gorillas in Rwanda, visit Volcanoes National Park, which is famous for gorillas and golden monkeys.
