Sanga gate is one of the two main gates found in Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda, in the Kiruhura district. Sanga gate Lake Mburo is found near the Sanga Trading Center which is about 14 kilometers from the park.
Apart from this gate, there is another Nshara gate which makes up two of the main gates in Lake Mburo. Nshara gate is only 8 kilometers from the main road, so both gates are not far from the park’s headquarters.

Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest savannah national park in Uganda but is well-gifted with various wildlife features like numerous bird species and mammals. Among the wildlife to be found include jackals, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, and oribi among others. The various bird species to be found here include the shoebill stork, brown-chested wattled plover, Tabora cisticola, and saddle-billed stork, among others.
