Lake Mburo Budget Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park (Travel time +4hrs)
Early morning drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover at the Equator crossing line in Masaka, arriving in Lake Mburo towards 10:00 am. You will then have a game drive in search of zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, topis, and elands among other wildlife species. Then return in the afternoon for lunch at your safari lodge.
The evening is spent on a bush walk, which is another excellent opportunity for more wildlife viewing and interactions.
Dinner and overnight stay at Eagles Nest Lake Mburo (budget facility). Meal Plan: lunch, and dinner.
Day 2: Bush Walk & Boat Safari Lake Mburo
After your early morning breakfast, you will go for a morning bush walk for a closer encounter with nature. And then a mid-morning game safari drive for more wildlife viewing and photography. Lake Mburo National Park is a very special place; every part of it is alive with variety, interesting, and colorful features. The park contains an extensive wetland area that harbors the majority of the wildlife.
You are likely to see elands, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, and zebras. Thereafter your lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise to see hippos and amazing countless bird species, including the rare shoebill, grey-crowned (crested) crane, pelicans, fish eagles, herons, and many other water birds.

Day 3: Full-day Relaxation & A Night Game Drive
Today is dedicated to relaxation and sightseeing around your lodge in Lake Mburo National Park. The evening will then be spent on a night game safari in search of the nocturnal mammals, including the leopard that is usually sighted at night.
Dinner and overnight stay at Eagles Nest Lake Mburo (budget facility). Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 4: Lake Mburo – Kampala/Entebbe
Morning is dedicated to sightseeing around your lodge with an early lunch at your lodge. Have an en-route game drive exiting the park with an opportunity to spot more wildlife. You will then return to Kampala or Entebbe to catch up on your outbound flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: B & L.
